On this day in 1987, 25 years ago and fresh from Strathclyde University, Derek Brown (12?) started employment as a Graduate Architect with Colin Robertson Graham and Partners. If the Millennium Bug wasn’t concern enough, in the year 2000 Derek became a Partner of CRGP Architects and Surveyors, which in 2003 became CRGP Limited. Derek has held the position of Chairman since that date.

Way back then Derek looked after our only (very large) PC with AutoCAD (version 10), and can even remember his first ‘job number’ was 1846, we’re now at 8,800!

7,000 projects and 25 years later we were all eager to enjoy Derek’s cakes today however we are told that Brown’s Brownies weren’t quite ready this morning. They’d better be ready tomorrow Mr Brown, Sir!
