Finishing Tower
North Lanarkshire Council had a requirement to extend and refurbish the Finishing tower located on the loch at Strathclyde Park ahead of the European Championship’s in 2018. Designed by CRGP, the building is used to house Judges and timing officials for rowing regattas.
The building has been altered and extended on all floors to ensure compliance with the international rowing federation (FISA) regulations, with a new structural glass façade wrapping the building and providing un-interrupted views down the rowing course to the start tower at the opposite end of the park.
